Come and Let Your Glory Fall

Come and let Your glory fall…

Tu Reino Aqui

My heart has been so captivated by this new Honduran project, Tu Reino Aqui, that I and the others on the team will be visiting this summer.  The more that I have been learning about it, the more my heart yearns for this community.   I have become more and more passionate to see this group of people blessed and encouraged not only through Compassion’s child sponsorship program, but by believers coming alongside to see God’s glory revealed in their lives.  This photo of their church shows their passionate hearts also to see God’s glory revealed.

Come and let Your glory fall…

I’ve had this song in my spirit the past week which expresses the same desire of Tu Reino Aqui…  Your Kingdom Here…

Come and let Your glory fall…

Located in a very rural, mountainous community that is especially poor even for Honduras, the typical homes have dirt floors and mud walls such as those that I saw in Yolani’s community last summer. However, the average income for adults in this new project is only $50/month, which is 1/3 the income of Yolani’s already desperately poor community.

Here is my own sponsored child from Tu Reino Aqui, 6 year old Maybeline Juleysi.  I can hardly wait to meet this precious girl this summer!  But even more than that, I long for the glory of God to come for her life.  I pray for her to have a heart hungry for God’s presence and glory, hungry to hear His voice, hungry to walk in intimacy with Him her whole life through.  I desire that she will be a child of great faith, to live a life filled with God’s miracles done on her behalf.  This precious child has no earthly father in her home, so that has caused me to desire even more that she will know the love of her Heavenly Father and the care that He has for her… that she will know that she is beloved, loveable, and worthy of love, for that is what her name means.

Come and let Your glory fall…

For the past 2 weeks, I and the other advocates who will be visiting Tu Reino Aqui in July have been praying for the children we are advocating for.  It has been so beautiful to see 10% of the children from this new project already sponsored!  That’s 20 of the 200 children… we are so excited that today we reached this first milestone!  Our dream is to see all 200 sponsored by the time we arrive…  that’s a huge undertaking, but not impossible with God.

So here is the next child I am featuring…

Ludin Arely

UPDATE

Ludin Arely is 9 years old, and her birthday is May 3, 2005.

Ludin lives with her father and her mother.  Her duties at home include making beds, running errands and cleaning.  There are 3 children in the family.  Her father is sometimes employed as a farmer and her mother is sometimes employed as a laborer.  Jumping rope is Ludín’s favorite activity. In primary school her performance is average and she also regularly attends church activities.

Are you the one who will sponsor this precious girl, and who will pray for the kingdom and glory of God to fill her life?  It is only $38/month to sponsor a child with Compassion.  Contact me here to sponsor Ludin.  You can view her regular photo on this page, and I will also email the full sized photo of Princesa Ludin for her sponsor to write her a special letter about being a princess in God’s kingdom.

I love following your journey. And I am so happy God was able to provide for me to sponsor Genesis and be part of this amazing ministry.

Is Genesis the sweetie in the bright pink top and blue pants? If so, she is adorably precious!

It was so fun to learn about your girl from this project! I’m loving hearing you all advocate for these kids and wish we could take on a few more kids.
